Stéphane Brosse (born October 20, 1971) is a French ski mountaineer.[1]

Brosse was born in Pont de Beauvoisin.[2] He started ski mountaineering in 1990 and competed the first time at the Miage Contamines Somfy race in 1995. In 1996 he became member of the national team. Together with Pierre Gignoux also has hold the for the Mont Blanc course since May 30, 2007. They needed a total time of 5h 15' 47" for the total course, thereof round about 4 hours and seven minutes for climbin up, and round about one hour and seven minutes for the downhill race.[3] Since 2003 he and Lionel Bonnel have also held the Chamonix-Zermatt Haute Route record with 21h 11'.[4]

He lives in Annecy.
